We managed to catch up with Datuk Remy Ishak, one of Malaysia’s most celebrated actors and asked him about his favourite holiday destination.

The popular hearthrob immediately explained how much he loves Japan.

“I love the people, the community and also the food. I also appreciate the vibrance of the country. Everyone is very welcoming. That’s the vibe that i get when I am there,” confessed Remy.

He also added that he likes the weather in Japan which is not too extreme.

When asked about places that he would love to visit, Remy cited Norway as the top on his list.

Although not really a huge fan of Europe and western countries, the actor continues to harbour his dreams of witnessing the Aurora Borealis, more popularly known as the ‘Northern Lights’.

“It was actually part of my honeymoon plans to visit Norway and see the Aurora Borealis, but as i was too busy with work, I had to postpone that plan. However I really hope to be able to do so one day when i have the chance,” he explained further.

Remy who was just recently appointed as the new brand ambasador for regional coffee brand Alicafé will soon be appearing in a horror film called ‘Khadam’.
