From 24 June to 30 August 2026, POP MART, in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), will bring its beloved CRYBABY character to the Singapore Oceanarium in the CRYBABY Cry Me an Ocean activation – the first to be set inside a real oceanarium. The vibrant, ocean-themed experience featuring 11 photo zones – including 2 towering outdoor inflatables, life-sized sculptures, and immersive photo opportunities – set alongside marine habitats within one of the world’s largest oceanariums, bringing the Cry Me an Ocean collection into an authentic marine environment for the first time.

Reimagining CRYBABY as a cast of endearing marine animals, the activation invites visitors to embark on an underwater adventure through the Singapore Oceanarium. Set within a real marine environment, the experience pairs CRYBABY’s universal appeal with the Singapore Oceanarium’s mission to inspire greater knowledge, love and action for the ocean. Each installation is accompanied by a character board that shares the story and personality of the CRYBABY marine character, offering visitors a fresh, engaging lens to connect with marine life and inspire ocean stewardship.

An Underwater Adventure with CRYBABY

The experience unfolds before visitors even step inside the Singapore Oceanarium, with towering five-metre CRYBABY inflatables setting the scene: THE ANGLERFISH, a luminous deep-sea guide, and THE PUFFERFISH, a puffed-up companion brimming with personality. These eye-catching installations welcome visitors to the world of CRYBABY and offer the first photo opportunity of the journey.

Stepping into the Singapore Oceanarium, visitors are greeted by THE WHALESHARK, a two-metre sculpture of the ocean’s gentle giant, marking the start of the indoor trail.

Inside the Singapore Oceanarium, visitors will encounter more CRYBABY marine characters – from life-sized sculptures to immersive photo opportunities – thoughtfully placed across the Oceanarium’s galleries, from Ocean Wonders and the Shark Seas tunnel to the iconic Open Ocean viewing panel. Each installation is set alongside marine habitats, offering a journey that seamlessly blends art, play and marine discovery.
