Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie marked its Fantastic 4th anniversary with an intimate and heartfelt gathering attended by the Chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Michael Yam; Group CEO, Mr Jeffrey Chew and the Super Ace Resources Board of Directors—Datuk Paul Wong, Mr Benjamin Teoh, Mr Foong and Mr Jeffrey Quah—as well as representatives from Paramount Corporation Berhad, including Ms Tham Jiun Huey, General Manager, Finance.
The celebration reflected on the hotel’s remarkable journey since opening its doors on 15 November 2021, during a time when global travel was uncertain and the hospitality industry was navigating post-pandemic challenges.
Despite those early uncertainties, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie pressed forward with resilience and a shared commitment to its vision. Over the past four years, the hotel has built a strong foundation shaped by dedication, teamwork, and the steadfast loyalty of its people.
Many of the associates who supported the hotel through its early days remain today, individuals whose perseverance and passion have played a defining role in its success.

Hosted at Warna All-Day Dining, the anniversary programme began at noon with the arrival and reception of guests, followed by an opening address from General Manager, Mr Puvan Abdullah. In his remarks, he acknowledged the team and valued partners, sharing: “It is truly an honour for me, as the General Manager, to celebrate this very special milestone, Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie’s 4th Anniversary. This marks four years of dedication, growth, and shared commitment; four years of building a hotel that reflects not only comfort and hospitality but also the passion and teamwork of everyone who has contributed to our journey.”
The Chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Michael Yam, later delivered an inspiring keynote reflecting on the hotel’s achievements, growth, and strategic direction. A key highlight was the Recognition of Long-Serving Associates, honouring team members who have served three or more years, celebrating their vital contribution in strengthening the hotel since its opening. A Token of Appreciation was also presented to the Chairman as a gesture of gratitude for his continued support and leadership.
The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony led by the General Manager, the Chairman, and the Board of Directors, followed by a symbolic “Breaking the Ice” moment and a video montage capturing the hotel’s milestones.
The gathering concluded with a curated lunch and networking session, offering a warm and professional setting for conversation, connection, and reflection.
Thoughtfully planned and rich in meaning, the Fantastic 4th anniversary celebration on 15th of November 2025 highlighted not only the hotel’s achievements but also the unity, passion, and dedication of the team driving its success.
