Penang Bird Park is excited to announce the opening of its newest attraction, the Reptile House, a dedicated indoor exhibit showcasing a fascinating collection of reptiles, amphibians, and unique cold-blooded species from around the world. The exhibit is fully included with the park’s standard admission ticket, meaning visitors enjoy the experience at no extra charge.
Home to an impressive lineup of species, the Reptile House features the Rhinoceros Iguana, Sailfin Dragon, Green Basilisk Lizard, Golden Python, Ball Python, Crocodile Skink, Bluetongued Skink, Green Emerald Skink, Bearded Dragon, Salamanders, Emperor Scorpion, Sulcata Baby Tortoises, Leopard Gecko, Dumpy Tree Frog, and more. Designed for both education and discovery, the exhibit highlights the habitats and behaviours of these extraordinary creatures in an immersive and family-friendly setting.

To celebrate the grand opening, guests will enjoy a special hands-on opportunity to gently touch and take photos with select animals, including a Ball Python, Blue-tongued Skink, Lutino Iguana, and (in case you’re a little squeamish) some furry guinea pigs – available until 31 December 2025 only.
“We are thrilled to close out the Year of the Snake with an exhibit that allows visitors to appreciate species that are often misunderstood,” said park founder Dr. Gino Ooi. “The Reptile
House showcases several rare species – some that can’t be found exhibited anywhere else in Malaysia – giving guests a chance to learn, explore, and see their beauty up close.”

Visitors can also save on admission by pre-booking tickets online, enjoying an exclusive 20% discount via the official Penang Bird Park website:
