Vietjet has announced the launch of its new Hanoi – Prague service, offering Malaysian travellers an exciting new gateway to Europe. The new route marks Vietjet’s continued expansion into Europe while strengthening connectivity between Southeast Asia and the European Union.
The Hanoi – Prague route is scheduled to commence on 10 October 2026, operated by the airline’s Airbus A330 aircraft via Almaty, Kazakhstan, with an initial frequency of two return flights weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights depart Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport at 8.25am and arrive at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague at 6.55pm local time. The return service departs Prague at 8.55pm and arrives in Hanoi at 4.20pm the following day.

For Malaysian travellers, the new route opens up more affordable and convenient access to the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan via Hanoi, while also providing seamless connections through Vietjet’s extensive regional network, including routes linking Kuala Lumpur to Vietnam’s key cities Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. The service is expected to appeal to Malaysian holidaymakers, students, business travellers, and those seeking multi-city Central Asian and European adventures at competitive fares.
To celebrate the launch, Vietjet is offering promotional Eco-class fares including taxes and fees from USD405 (approximately RM1,915) one-way, while all-inclusive Deluxe fares start from USD459 (approximately RM2,170) one-way. Deluxe passengers will enjoy benefits including 40kg checked baggage, 10kg carry-on baggage, onboard hot meals, complimentary seat selection, and flexible flight changes. In addition, passengers can opt to travel in Business and SkyBoss classes – Wings for Leaders, where every journey is elevated with attentive service, refined cuisine, and a premium flying experience.
