After creating a massive phenomenon during its 2024 debut, Asmaraloka Fest is officially making its highly anticipated comeback for 2026. This year, the festival is staying true to its core mission: delivering a world-class, premium music experience that meets the highest industry standards while remaining affordable and accessible for the youth.

By showcasing a stellar lineup of nine local artists and bands, Asmaraloka Fest 2026 offers music lovers a front-row seat to high-quality, international-standard performances—all while rallying support for Malaysia’s homegrown creative talents.

Mark your calendars for 4 July 2026, as the Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC) transforms into a high-energy hub expecting over 4,500 festival-goers for a day filled with passion, self-expression, and pure nostalgia.

More Than Just a Concert: The Ultimate “Healing” Vibe

Breaking away from the traditional, rigid concert format, Asmaraloka is serving up a laid-back, highly interactive festival concept. Visitors can look forward to:

  • Live Music Zone: Captivating back-to-back performances.
  • Curated Food Zones: Fueling your festival day with great bites.
  • Community Spaces: Interactive hubs to connect with fellow music enthusiasts.
  • Immersive Visual Elements: Designed to elevate your social media feed.

The Star-Studded Lineup

The 2026 edition features an incredible mix of iconic household names and rising local stars, including:

  • 6ixth Sense
  • Iamneeta
  • Imran Ajmain
  • Aizat Amdan
  • Sakura Band
  • Empty Page
  • After Midnight
  • Jemput Dengar
  • …and several major surprise acts to be announced soon!

“In a market increasingly saturated with international touring acts, we at Fuse chose to celebrate our homegrown heroes,” says a representative from the organizing team. “Asmaraloka is our platform to prove that Malaysian artists can deliver world-class performances that resonate deeply with local souls. We want to ensure this top-tier experience isn’t exclusive to a privileged few, but remains entirely affordable for the youth. This is a movement to honor local craft on an international scale.”

Choosing Ipoh as the host city was an intentional, brilliant move by the organizers. Far from being a mere alternative venue, Ipoh is a city pulsing with culture, unique identity, and community potential—rightfully earned as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.

With its serene and authentic backdrop, the town perfectly lives up to its trendy, unofficial moniker, “Ini Pekan Orang Healing (IPOH)” (The Ultimate Healing Town). Through Asmaraloka Fest 2026, Fuse intends to elevate Ipoh from just a quiet weekend getaway into a vibrant sanctuary where youth can gather and celebrate music.

This initiative aligns perfectly with the efforts of Tourism Perak and the Ipoh City Council (MBI) under their ‘Promising Perak’ campaign for Visit Malaysia Year, giving a massive boost to the state’s creative industry and local tourism ecosystem.
